Interest rates will be at these levels for another one or two years. There's no significant credit growth in this country yet. A possible rate cut is on the cards. i dont think interest rate likely to go up

In a major uptrend it is better to ignore short term events. In bull market despite negative factors stocks prices will go up. In beat market despite attractive results stocks prices will go down. As long as major up trend is intact we will have higher stock prices in the CSE. It is time to concentrate on future winners. Good luck

Many are anticipating future rate cuts. Few talk of why such monetary policy is taken up. Primary benefit of keeping low rates, as most economists view, is to stimulative effect of economic activity. It can spur business spending on capital assets which help economies long term performance. Also the capacity of banking sector backed by strong balance sheet, would lend more leading a good economic growth. Higher economic activities in any economy means lower unemployment rate. Some developed countries expect a boom in capital market by lowering interest rate where public divert their cash assets in acquiring shares. Low finance cost of borrowings will definitely strength the companies bottom line. But should not forget that there are disadvantages of lowering interest rates too.
