Dear members

My real identity

I am not a Sri Lankan investor and I am a foreign investor
I think I am not a small investor either because my PF greater than 10M

Posting comments as a foreign buyer/seller might have helped Sri Lankan small investors a lot. because, I am a genuine foreigner.I don't make investment decisions based on forum post too.

I am a senior member of the world class equity forum and I know what really a forum should be like. forum is not a place for posts like this but to talk about the market.

I have made clear points why I resign.That is not because the banner discussions. that is for deleting my posts and locking and using powers unnecessary for personal gains by SSTAR.

If you're in profit in can collect some and others can adjust their PF. Don't get panic, and loose your hard earned money. Foreigners're continuously buying. This's what I told last week...Some members want to create a panic situation for their advantage.
I'm a swing trader before few days ago market down, 75% of my positions were closed. Hence, even this dip is great for me to make some panic and collect more. But I didn't, bcz I didnt want to be bloody sucker. Since, many of experts doing this as a charity; help for others to make some money and protect small investors from the large players/manipulators.
And the other thing I saw last Sunday, the HUGE BANNER, favouring panic sellers. It was full of my laptop screen. And I saw "IO3" did a post regarding with the banner, I was to comment it later bcz at that moment I was busy. But later I search it it was missing..
And thirdly, I was asked what to do with this..

And still there's no answer ..

Hence, I belive SLEF has to be transparent and independent. And not for the full fill the needs and wants of some..

I want Octa to stay in the forum as he is a valued adviser for us. We might have more than 20,000 members, but compared to number of investors/traders in CSE, this number is negligible. Therefore we need to grow more and have more members. Each member has his/her own expertise with different exposures making he/she is a very important member, and we cannot bear the cost of losing even a single member. Specially a member like Octa who is very active and contribute massively to the forum. My vote goes to Octa, please stay.

SLEF is a established forum to discuss things. There are more than 200,000 articles. Why are you trying to find fault with me just becos of a banner? I told you the reason why I deleted the post. We don't won't unnecessary problems in the forum. If you want to leave the forum or resign, you as a responsible person should send a PM or discuss with your admin instead of washing dirty linen in public.

Dear OCTA,

Don't get upset and leave the forum because of few people who are having personnel agendas. At the same time as you clearly mentioned there are genuine members like SHARK,RPPA,NC,ETC.......... who advisers to protect innocent investors.

Everybody make mistakes. Even in the economic and political world. This is a kind of internal problem. I think Shark or somebody should arrange some genuine peace negotiations to settle this problem once and for all. Actually in uncertain times we shouldn't listen to news. Otherwise we will become panic and will make some of the biggest mistakes in the market.

But Sstar, with all due respect, If people get frustrated (specially senior members), and leave (one by one) we will not have a forum.

This is not good for SLEF. The forums credibility remains not in quantity(number of members), but by the quality of members. I see only a very handful of members with true expertise and experience.

If they get frustrated and leave (one by one) we will not have a forum.

Yeah may be forum will be there, but there won't be responsible and experienced people to build a constructive discussion.

I guess we should respect the senior members and keep them.

OCTA is a valuable member as per my knowledge.

Guess the admins take this matter very seriously and do something about it.

This is bad precedents.

Lot of small investors learn and benefiting from this forum. For them to learn and benefit senior members should take part in this actively.

In that case we have to stand for them and protect them.

whats going on what happen to octopus. building a website like this is not a big deal i could do that by hiring a web designer for few thousand rupees but what make this forum alive is passionate senior members those who work for others with out expecting anything if this forum lose them it is equal to suicide
