I am really fed-up with this market.... Day by day down turn.... All are selling PP value is declining day by day.... Always I thought positively but now it is difficult.... Sad

Friends any positive ideas.... What should we do....? (We are feeling the result of YAHAPALANAYA)

I also got fed up, too much volatility in the environment. Sold My pf and waiting for some sanity.

Nothing positive or progressive is heard in the news, all talk is about investigations, committees, probes and never ending corruption band wagon, Media shows. Nothing has been proven so far.

Five hundred versions about port city, many projects were stopped. No talk about any new projects. No development roadmap. Governing collation has multiple voices so much clutter and noise . Budget was a crap, feeding inefficient state sector from the productivity of private sector for vote catching.
Good governance is a mere word grossly abused.

This was the change so many people wanted . Some time democracy has pit falls , choice by majority could also be wrong.

I think this is a bigger problem than we think.

what investment options do we really have now??

FD rates still low, not many people start new businesses due to uncertainty created by the Yahapalana budget, political uncertainty etc . Tourism numbers in January not that great too.

What about real state? demand is bit low due to reduction in projects. Those days there was a big demand from expats.

I many be too negative, But please suggest I have some hard earned cash .

I will tell this repeatedly, till sense prevails. There is something wrong with the market but that is how our sri lankan market has been ever since, ups and downs... build your portfolio around the good stock you can count on,then you wont me fed up, if you are expecting super gains, then tough luck.. got into tjl at 19.8.. VPEL at 6.8 and got out with gains beyond 25%. am still holding tjl.. same with sira, pap... and so many other share.. dont get frustrated with the game if you cant play the game.. improve your game... wanna play high risk high return.. or do a mix of investments... 60% fundamentals and 40% counters you feel bullish or wouldnt mind gambling on... calculate for your possible losses to net off against gain in fundamentally good stock as a worst case scenario.. if good stock are going down,, capitalize on it..

I think no reason to fed up with present market

Preset situation is mainly due to Election Budget and
Political uncertainty

It will be a temporary phenomenon

good thing so far no govt manipulation and present market is not
artificial

Prudent people can play well in this market
