Of course. Market will down further. Most of retailers are massive lossen in LIOC,ESL,CFVF,JKH,AEL,UBC,EMER,and many more. Margin calls are on the way and buying power is locked. Profit taking and switch to deposits. Lack of confidence due to political issue while stopping port city ,uma oya etc. 5 Billion usds imf loans was rejected as well as increasing interest rates. Taxes like super gain while expecting wage hike of private sector. Increasing of government expenses but no steady revenue. In creasing of foreign debt . The coming strikes of trade unions and many more reasons.

The 19th Amendment of the costitution will be presented in Parliament next week.
IF an amendment is introduced to prevent anybody who has held office as Executive President is debarred from contesting for the Legislature and if such amendment is passed by a 2/3 majority Mahinda Rajapakses hopes would be dashed

I have a dirty feeling that there is going to be chaos next week and many small time traders will lose their investments in the CSE.

Just you wait!
Index can go below 7000 in no time. Forget the market picking up soon.

Why don't you give a proper explanation of what you have said without making people panic more as it is people are going through a lot of uncertainty on top of of that ur talking rubbish

Ask any reasonable minded person and the answer would be the same.
There is no sense of direction, only confusion on any issue.

The Govt. Is like a bull in a china shop - only damage created
The banks have no proper direction - they apply the senior citizen regulation the way they understand it to be.
The various departments are not functioning smoothly because all the heads have changed. So they are like headless chickens!

Normally change will take time to stabilize. But we don't need corrupt people gain to drill the our motherland.

MR is trying to enter the politics by investing in Jaathiwadhaya

Damn good for all you buggers who wanted the UNP. Not only did you sell our race, now you will lose all your hard earned money in the panic.

Give half of the country to the LTTE and be broke at the same time. Lovely!

A new CB Governor is brought from Singapore and given citizenship. Now he gets implicated in an insider dealing scandal with his son-in-law.

Please enjoy because you have nobody else to blame but your miserable, hate-fueled selves.

At last a sensible comment. When market was 7800 and dropped to 4800 various complains were made, changed Chairmen/directors, market was manipulated openly. "Insider trader" was widespread. Wonder why they did not change the government....

Boys and Girls.....don't expect the market to go up all the time. If you expect the market to go up all the time then it is a huge mistake. Currently there are some good counters that have dropped in prices. Time to pick them now.

I voted for MR but majority chose MS my personal opinion is that what has happened has happened no point blaming each other now. As investors let's help each other in finding out under valued counters and help those who have lost there hard earned money.

It will be a dream only.
Majority of srilankan will not support corrupt MR / his cronies anymore. Yet few SLEF members try to make money at the expense of ordinary innocent srilankans.
