Other thing important in the result is that people indicates that
they do not want UNP standalone government because still batalanada mass murderer heading the UNP. Our people have grown up smart over the years? They have chased all appachchi malo characters as well and selected educated decent people like Wimal and Udaya, most UNPers specially Colombo central UNP thugs , druggists and underworld operators have voted UNP as usual to carry out their murderous and treacherous deals

Key Takings from Election Result

1. Economic prosperity with good governance should be promoted while ensuring national security, territorial integrity in a unitary state.

2. Self rule concept and traditional homeland concept has been rejected. TNA defeated in East.

3. Amalgamation of North East rejected.

4. All forms of racism is rejected.

5. Infrastructure development should be given key priority.

6. UNP is not trustworthy to form stand alone government due to their 17 year barbarian rule and they are still under the check of people.

7. For JVP, just blabbering wont do, need to prove performance.

8. Personality worshiping will be rejected in future elections.

9. Policy and principle based politics is preferred by people.

10. Need for all Sri Lankans live as one nation emphasized in a firm way.
