At first look, HUNT seems another overvalued and illiquid company.

FY11 EPS was just Rs 14, and book value is Rs 431 per share. However owns valuable land in Naranhenpita and the MD brand.

Only 5.145 mn shares in issue, and only 2,200 shares needed to be in Top 20 shareholders @ 31st March 2011

Controlled by Mrs.Dossa with 70% stake - Mr.Ronnie de Mel's daughter I think.

Mr Al Nakib has filed several legal cases against HUNT and its Directors over past years, he had 0.853 mn shares in HUNT @ 31st March 2011 - he may be the seller.

The more interesting issue is who were the big buyers ?

Mr Al Nakib has not exited completely. As of 4Q interim report Mr Nakib had 852,600 shares. But during this week only less than 600,000 shares traded. So, Mr Nakid still holding some shares.

Mr Al-Nakib, a retired Kuwaiti businessman, has chosen Sri Lanka as a retirement destination and began investing in Sri Lankan stocks as a hobby, as he was not interested in idling during retirement. Al-Nakib was granted residency in Sri Lanka in October 2001.
