This is exactly how I started 11 months back. I could earn 200% of profit within 6 months. Remember those days it was quite easy to earn profit than today.

However, this has few factors to consider:

1. Failing to take enough shares even though you applied while you are locking money with IPO Company.

2. IPO shares means there is no guarantee that price will go up immediately.

3. 15% loan interest might be a big amount if you fail to benefit from your selections.

Mainly you have to test whether you can afford to pay the loan installment what ever happens to your investments in shares.

Any way business is always taking risk, so Good luck!

The bank OD interest is below 15% , if you have a FD then you get a loan of 90% of FD at good rates. Also think about the repayment period. 12 monts , 18 months , 36 months etc.

yes good thought ..usually bank will charge 3% above than the fd interest rate

Why 250,000 ?

Think how many shares you will get from each IPO and find out how much you need. Do not block big amounts unnecessarily.
Otherwise, profit you get from IPOs will be lesser than the interest.

Eg. IF we get only 100 ValibelONE , then you need only 2,500.00.
I think max may be 200 shares. i.e. Rs. 5,000.00 .

I did not apply Expo shares and LDEV rights. Now I am buying LDEV from MKT below the issue price. Take care of that possibility also for other IPOs. ( not for V-ONE.)
