My worst IPO ever but I sold 1000 @ 15/= Very Happy

Brown's investment seems to be the ultimate holding company of FLCH and HPFL. both the shares are trading below the IPO price, I don't have confident to apply for this. Exclamation

Confident lacks due to recently traded FLCH and EXPO shares Sad

FLCH stuck with Pvt plcmnt price ... but HPFL is above 50% ... as i knw HPFL was issued @ Rs. 10 ... now @ 14-15 range ...

But ... awaiting for Experts view Very Happy

Now I personally do not apply for IPOs. Mainly due to some reasons we have disscussed in this forum. They announce the IPOs after distributing a larger potion of shares among them at a very low price. Therefore people who buy in IPO do not have any chance to earn profit in the short period.In fact within a day or two or after one week price colud drop below the issue price. Eg: EXPO,FLCH

Do not so much discouraged...Just do some basic analysis and go through the prospectus we can get some idea about the company(I know nothing about bussiness field but this is what I am doing.)
What I feel is Vallible one and Browns are really good as IPOs.
I did not apply Expo and Softlogic.

Other interesting fact is these holding on seylan bank had been disposed on December. ( Look page no19 of the prospectus significant transaction made by the company.)

I think this holding had been transferred to Brown & Co.
