Stock market for beginners
Separate the good from the great. I want stocks which are able to move. Successful trading is about managing trades regardless of where they came from. I think a great trader could probably turn a profit taking random trades, as long as he manages them well.
If you keep doing what you've always been doing, then you'll keep getting what you've always been getting! You probably realize by now that buy-and-hold investing isn't going to make you a lot of money these days. In fact, it would be impossible to get rich using that single strategy.
Don’t care if the markets are going up, down or sideways. Find opportunities to make money regardless of conditions.
Take advantage of the swings in price of different stocks each day. Make several trades each day and have each position closed by the end of the market day. Active traders who enter and exit several positions in any given day tend to maximize their profits while minimizing their exposure, thus limiting their risk. . It takes a great deal of experience and thought, but by using the proper perspective, gaining extensive experience, and honing your trading skills, you can break away from the masses, and trade consistently and profitably. Each day, each challenge, each experience, each encounter has made you more knowledgeable, more capable, and more effective.
Everything you do well, you’ve learned how to do and you’ve learned how to improve. The powerful thing is, there is no limit to the new and valuable things you can learn. So give yourself a powerful advantage. Choose an attitude, right now, that will illuminate the positive side of buying, and begin right away to reap the great rewards.
