Discussion is way over. What are your views on high interest rate yield of BLI and their accounting treatment for that. Are they jacking-up the profits using some accounting jilmarts? And on top of that here they declare a dividend too. Now public will be very much enthusiastic over BLI. Isn't it?

what about LOFC ?

I am sure LOCF give good returns. and very easily bcz 98.5% holding by main share holders. litle amount of stocks in the market with good buying pressure LOFC move quickly.

dont forget still 50% discount from top price. if we consider 5.0 -5.5 as a top.

any ideas....

Abans Finance PLC just sold 7,943,506 of their rights in one trade. I believe that Abans is overstretched with the Colombo City Centre project and looking for a partner for their finance company. If Ironwood was the buyer then the price will be pushed up on small public holding but if there is a third institutional buyer then there is hope for true liquidity in the market.

Finance sector is in a decline trend when it come to finance companies due to high competition , high FD rates, government restrictions on vehicles, etc . How ever banks are performing well but need to study further

dont worry about it. still we can see private sector credit growing.

during last 1 year time interest rates up 5% but some company maintain profits and some companies improve profits. I dont see any big issue

small/Medium scale finance companies are in trouble even CENTRAL BANK agreed on it In last week discussion . Teller said it 2 months before.non performing loans percentage has increased by 60% QoQ.
