Past is not a predictor of future. Tea is in demand as an immunity booster in the post covid era. This is one of the Companies to benefit from Covid. When September ending Quarter results are out it can appreciate substantially. Already positive indications can be seen in price movement.

Dipped products shot up with demand for rubber gloves, HVA will shoot up with the demand for tea.

Total equity attributable to the equity holders of the company / Total equity as at June 2020 (Unaudited) is -77,868,197. Whatever run it's going to have is purely due to its future prospects. But then again, could it make up for the loss of 77mil and then even more to favour 66,428,660 shares issued?

Cannot access your link which seems dodgy.

Tea is in demand for several known reasons after Covid outbreak.

Probable reason for price rise could be the Sept Qtr end performance. So, shouldn't we wait for the report without making unsubstantiated allegations.

This is a 2019 post!!
SO whoever missed the bus, has to wait for the next cycle!!

Tea is one of the highest demand comodity. Specially HVA is in value addition segment like Dilmah and having considered their catering to niche market, possibility to do well in this current market condition is very HIGH.
Also their orders books were full for this year!! with the increase in efficiency and cost savings (as per 30.06 accounts), this should go up for sure!!

HVA has reported an impressive EPS of 1/16 for Q3

9 months EPS 1/35

Can expect equivalent or better results for Q4 and a forecast EPS of at least 2/50 for the FY 20/21. At a modest PER of 8, the share should trade at 20+ (the sector PER is above 10).

Future looks promising!

Went through the details , There s a provision reversal of 120Mn for Q3 , which is in excess of the entire Q3 s turnover. Else the company is still at a massive loss.
Not sure whether they could do a repeat performance in Q4 as nothing much seems to be going well , operationally
