Low cost of production has elevated high gross profit.
Direct expenses are fairly managed in inflationary time.
Are components of other income in recurring nature?

Overall very good performance. 2nd quarter (30 June) that includes festive time should be more interesting. If bull run falls chasing the counter is imminent.

Japfa is selling. If some one can buy this quantity of around 3 million remaining shares at around 82 rupees which is already worth around 120 rupees, in my opinion can be similar to an opportunity of buying NEST at 1500 rupees.

last december they had 50 laks now 46 laks there.Only 4 laks sold.At this speed it will take long time to selloff

This was as at 31st March 2016.

Over 1 million more had been sold after that as per my calculations.

This is the question we all have in our minds. for both TAFL and GRAN.
Who and why trading at these extra cheap values. Is there any future trouble pre identified ? I do not think so.
A Such problem could be skyrocketing grain prices , still we have no clue on that even.
From 2014 to date we had 40 % drop in world Maize prices and for next two years the prediction is an yearly increase of 8 % only.

BTW, two famous batsmen Chokka and Ara and our own Marketwatch have well placed themselves in the batting order. Interestingly the chick specialist MW has no BFL (Dec 2015) but got both T & G.

As per my calculations Japfa holding qty as at yesterday should be around 4mn shares unless they have sold it to another foreign party.

TAFL have produced better improved results than GRAN. Compare with last quarterly results.Actually gran has reduced its EPS, whereas TAFL have produced a even more EPS

technical indicators say a Strong SELL for both GRAN & TAFL. But moving averages say BUY for both of them.
