There are instances where people abroad get to know of local events or incidents before we do. Foreigners have been net buyers at the CSE over the past couple of weeks including today in the backdrop of an impending budget to be presented next month.

Budget will not do any harm. Budget fear is useless and very costly. The government will do their best to keep people happy specially with the upcoming election.

Very low volume means very few are selling at low prices. Look at ABAN today came down almost 5% by 2000 odd shares. Twisted Evil

I totally agree! I've personally heard and seen some fear mongering by brokers and their firms (papers also amplify their statements). When they are trying hard so to predict and promote gloom and doom, it's a good sign for me to buy quietly.

Brokers want to have more business. When the say falling people tend to sell which will release funds for them to buy back. That is the secret of the game.

I think in this low turnover and commission era, this is the only way for some nefarious broker firms to make money. Volumes are too thin for decent brokerage fees so the tactic is to create panic, wait for the drop, buy very very cheap and then talk fundamentals, low PE, oversold, excellent BUY RECOMENDATION report! Some are already having low PEs and are promising where the foreign buying goes! Meanwhile the market misses the game plan and gets in on the action at the last quarter of the ride.

Even today foreign net buying amounted to 106 Million.
(Purchase 123 Million, Sale 17 Million only).
Finally, Trump did not bump CSE....................
Decide who should be bumped!
