If it is OK, can you explain how you incured this loss of 180K? I hope this is still unrealized loss. Which shares you bought at which price? Then may be others can come up with some ideas to minimize your loss.

isn't a week too long for you?
if you want to make 180,000 in a day, go to a casino and bet 180,000 on RED or BLACK on roulette. you have a 47% chance of doubling your money.
in a stock market "investors" are generally happy with 20% annual return (which means investing 1,000,000 and waiting for a year).

see the difference between investing and gambling? if you are looking to double your money in week, you are a gambler and you are better off playing in a casino.

OK, don't get caught in bullish stock without fundamentals , try stocks considering the movement pattern by referring to Bloomberg.

Sorry to say this but that was such a dumb question to ask. Only some inside info may help you. I don't see any other way to earn some magical cash.
Learn the lesson and play to your capacity. If you play with all your money theres a good chance that you lose more than half of it because the greed of humans will hit you sooner or later.

Same here. Your portfolio is better than me. So i think it is better to hold above shares for few months because all of them are fundamentally strong shares.

As I always say, buying at right level is always crucial. Buying GRAN at LKR 165 looks he has boarded on the peak of the wave. Majority LK retail investors do that .. ATL | RICH are appropriate buying .. AHUN will be dormant because of BBH demolition .. Good Luck !

I insisted one of my friends working in Dubai to buy some shares last year.

I bought MBSL @ 25, GRAN @ 55...etc [for him] by investing about 350,000.00

After few weeks the prices went down, his account became in red and his unrealized loss was over 60,000.00.

He was not in good mood and newer bought any more shares although he had few millions to invest. He asked not to sell or buy for him thereafter. He was telling everyone he lost in investing in SL market .

After 1 & 1/2 years, now his portfolio value is over 1 million.

I think now we have to be more patient and more intelligent in selecting shares and prices because upward growth rate is not the same.

I think we should seriously look at Forex trading with this kind of investors, high risk high return. you will have 50% chance on the direction and mostly with technical and fundermental factors trend can be reasonably predicted, not mere guessing.

Quibit why dont you consider opening a separate section dedicated to Forex trading, so that our members can study and enter into that stream?
