I feel as results of those manipulation, it can be badly damaged to cse. Even we got short term benefits, long term it will be major issue. Rich big fish grab poor retailers money. In my PF I am keeping fundamentally strong shares.

AS a result of manipulation, fundamentally strong shares going down day by day. Ex.Samp

Sampath Bank, even last credit clearing period they maintain good price levels. Now It will come 250-260 levels.

I am not against for manipulation. But I changed my style of trade. So I am not following manipulation. So why we gave our hard earned money to those manipulators. we are not doing a charity work.

If every one thinks like you surely manipulators will learn a lesson. But unfortunately most of the investors want quick money. But one day people who are chasing and buying will learn a lesson.

First of all preserve and protect CSE. Foreign investors are not interested in such a market. Medium term investors are not interested in gambling. Not good for the PLCS recording growing profits. Not helpful for the good image of a nation. Not at all healthy for the long term survival of Colombo Stock exchange. Ultimately manipulators will also not have a place to manipulate. Market needs to drive on corporate earnings. New funds and real investors need to be attracted to a Stock exchange.

Manipulation is not something new to any market. This happened in the past, happens now and definitely will happen in the future.

CSE may have higher number of manipulated counters than other countries. That is the only difference.

It is impossible to control 100%.

As long as small investors can buy manipulated shares at high, professional traders can do their job.

I am fully agree with you. In case someone entered in to such share and if realised that the price is inceasing due to purely on manipulation immediately he/she should exit either with a small margin or no profit no loss basis. Or even some time with a marginal loss. However there are some people who can easily make some money dealing with manipulated shares as well with proper timing to enter and exit.. Every things depend on knowledge and experience.

agreed, knowledge is asymmetric in this market. Small investors will continue to never get guided enough by brokers, and it is not always the brokers fault. Most times, brokers are taken for a ride and they drag their clients with them as well...
