This is not the way to treat a company . Let customers to decide it . These kind of statements will kill the foreign direct investment in future. LIOC has very low cost stored fuel which has been purchased in negative territory ,
the same way , IF Lioc decides to sell less price compare to CPC? What will be the scenario ??

Despite this showed a positive signs to move upward on 18/6 (THU) with good volumes, it was not active afterwards. Can we collect this around 14 again?

I think these are good prices to buy. But need to be careful as the stock is always exposed for political risk. 

I hold 500k shares at around 20lkr

2020 jan-mar quarter they started with 0.66 loss per share. next quarter (April to July) AKA "lockdown" quarter , i donnt think they ended up with a profit. other issue is , competitor is backed by government who is the decision maker on fuel prices and taxes. to buy this share we have to know very well about their business model and relationship and foresee government tax/price policy changes .
to be frank i know nothing about this business, so my comment might be not valid, it is just an opinion based on general view.
no offence for the members who hold this share . just my two cents.

Still we need oil and they are the one of main supplies.. but still government policy can have a huge impact..

@bhanu , you mean lubricants, right?
LLUB dominate the market and even-though LIOC is the second,they have lot of competitors. in 2018 they hold 17%, you can see 2019 Q1 it shrinks to 12%

Lioc recently won a bid from Ceylon electricity board,profit margin was very high recently and can give a good dividend,earning per share very high ,company manage by good management board, share is under value and oil demand will increase further.

Keep on eye on the LIOC. Dividend dates are very close. Heard the last quarter they have performed well & profited more than last year. The current price is good to enter because this will boost next week due to the dividend.
