Collection going on vpel or directors selling like pap(traded big volumes,more than 40 million)but I Dnt think directors sell happened in vpel.this is clearly trading with huge selling pressure,someone need to drag this to down and collect at bottom.will see what is going to happen.

This is based on my view point and analysis only, considering the sector wise support levels. With the power sector boost due to the rain fall and VPEL better dividend payout periodically, I expect minimum 12.50 in short term. Lot of investors will get attracted with these continuous dividends... Very Happy. Let's hope for the best... Very Happy

There is a short term benifit of dividend 30 cents will be there
But better to do analyse before investing rather than mentioning about price targets
EPS only 41 cents for six month but dividend so far 70 cents declared from earlier profits
Rrevious year 400mn FD has been withdraw for paying dividedend, 224 mn this time going to declared out of 320 mn FD.
FUTURE DIVIDEND AND GROWTH HIGHLY DEPENDS ON THE EARNINGS AND THE CASH INFLOW OF THE COMPANY

CASH MAINLY FLOWING FROM CEB
Government cash flow from this year and next year surely will be tough

You must answer for above questions before mention price target here.

Even though the dividend is only 30 cents. When the trade opens at 11am the price might reach its highest price for the day within first few minutes. I am not experienced yet to predict a number but it will definitely move beyond last closing price + 30 cents.

Check the impact to share price when they recently announced a dividend one to three months back. Check the highest traded price % increase on the following day of the announcement. This will give a better idea.

This share is good to hold on too with the upcoming budget. Experts in the energy and power sector will be able to give a much clear remark for the questions raised.
