I lost my patience with CITK. Sold today at breakeven.

Simply because opportunity cost of holding it is high these days as i may miss the train of shares like CTBL, CFLB.. Wink

Monash i have 6 years trading experience with CSE.I have heard lot of people are telling a story "Api sel karama ewa up wenawa " kiyala. I have already faced to that scenario. I also have a quantity of CITK. most of the time we re doing selling when some big party starting to to buy that. That's how the buying are active in a counter.U may noticed last month it dropped into 5.50/= rs. But nw there are buyers at 5.90. Everyday im already trying to sell CITK at 6.but again keep my patience. My heart says that will pass 7/= rs. within 1 day game. Lets c....but it will be good if you have invest u money in CFLB.that will touch 40/= rs. upcoming days.

I could have easily sold it at 6.10 last week. But my target was 7+.

CITW exceeded my target, unfortunately CITK couldn't break 6.10 resistance. As i mentioned before there might be big insider deal happening nowadays. Im eager to see top 10 shareholder list in next quarter results.

I bought both CITK and CITW for short term trading purpose.

I Kept CITK for 2 weeks and 3 times it tested 6.10 resistance but couldnt breakout even with REEF N movement. May be one of top shareholder exiting. I will buy back if this selling is over and break 6.10. Smile

i started to buy CFLB from last week, today i increased my holding. I'm not sure about Rs. 40 as i expect market correction on end of this week. But Rs.37+ enough for me as i entered below 33.  Razz

CITK will follow the CLND. Not REEF.

Monash : so you exited. Well yes I do understand your situation and I also think I should have exited many years ago and used that money to buy some good stocks and today I would have recovered my loss. The thing is I have a very large quantity. So exiting is also not easy. ALso my loss would be extremely high. I guess since I have waited this long I I will wait a bit more till I see some movement in CLND and hopefully CITK will move with it. I am hoping for the best.

Very frustrating with CITK for me as well. I have a decent quantity and once I was tempted to exit at 6.10 at a 25000 profit but didn't . same trading range everyday. but I also agree that sometimes this can be collected. lets all hope for the best. GL

I don't know why you bought CITK. They don't have any plan to start constructing the hotel. I may guess , Liberty plaza developments may have good impact on this share. But I think it is just a some development, nothing some thing big

I didnt have much problem of selling it since i bought it at Rs.5.80 and i held it only for 2 weeks. Since you are holding it for years i think you better hold it till this selling is over and until clnd trigger a run. I beleive you bought it at above 7 and stucked. I still think this will move 7+ with clnd and reef before asi turning back.

Good luck.. Smile

Capital Trust bought at the private placement at 10/-. Maybe they are trying to average their quantity. They have 10% or 16 million odd shares now as per June statement. March statement they had 8% or so. So they are definitely collecting from the market. NAV is now 8.61. The loans are killing CITK. If CLND goes up then they will have some gain in the share portfolio. But they cant book that. That's the problem. Well we can only wish for a run after CLND Liberty plaza development is completed. I was told that it should be completed in the next 2 months. Have to wait and see.....

CLND is long term investment to CITK. If CITK going to start hotel it will rise money from a right issue.
CLND is a value gem. I have mentioned this couple of years earlier. They legally process a huge land ( 10 acreas) within pettah but they physically doesn't process it. After DJ join the board and his close friend Def Sec is in controlling UDA getting this land is highly possible. I assume it is possible when DJ is ready to accept.
But the main problem is with the owners of the company.
Look at the top 20 share holders
DJ , ceybank, capital trust, godahewa, nawaloka, thoradeniya, silva process around 46% of the CLND. All of these entries except UDA, Kalpitiya beach collected shares above 40. It is impossible if they calculated the price correctly. Most probably they know something ahead.
I think this time DJ don't want to play. But he need to collect the share and take the control of the CLND.
If CLND is given the land NAV can be jumped over 100.
As I told earlier the problem is with shareholders. Related party only posses 46% of the shares.
Still there are 16% of shares in the hand of the public. DJ try to buy back these shares before he get the land.

Also if you are a Kalpitiya share holder, there is some thing you can be happy. Def Min secretly allocated 900 acrea land in Wilpattu for tourism. In this 900 acres people can feel what is happening in Africa. They will see Lions, Elephants ,.. but not in the cage but in the small jungle seperated (10 feet wall) from other area.

Since many of our members were interested about the progress of Waskaduwa Beach Resort of Citrus (CITW - REEF ) I write few lines here.:

The site clearing and foundation excavation work started in January last year . 2012.
The construction is handled by George Stuart Engineering.  Concrete is made in site in their batching and mixing plant.

Most  of the superstructure (reinforce concreting ) is completed now.  It has a very long and wide unpolluted nice beach front.
There are no much local beach users.
Many have sold their lands to hotels.

Boys, that hotel is much bigger than I thought. !

As per my little experience in Middle East Hotel construction, their progress in 15 months is quite satisfactory.
