Most of banks are good @ current prices but we can expect a 100% gain from UBC and PABC. Only from UBC and PABC when considering bank sector. DFCC ,COMB also not bad but no doubt that UBC and PABC holders will get the maximum gain.ThilinaM wrote:@kavindu - UBC no value/ PABC have potential but there are better bank shares than PABC
Yeah COMB is also okay but i m into UBC and PABC, ABL toowgsaman wrote:Try to collect COMBThilinaM wrote:@kavindu - UBC no value/ PABC have potential but there are better bank shares than PABC

NAV is 17rs bruh. Think this Feb they will only pay 1 rupee as the div. Guess what will happen to market price.wgsaman wrote:LLUB is more safer. Definitely 10% return via dividends. Market leader of lubricants

Which banks? UBC,PABC and ABL? You are telling they are overvalued?wgsaman wrote:Based on fundamentals those banks are overvaluedKavinduTM wrote:Yeah COMB is also okay but i m into UBC and PABC, ABL toowgsaman wrote:Try to collect COMBThilinaM wrote:@kavindu - UBC no value/ PABC have potential but there are better bank shares than PABC
Buddy closely look their financials then you realized what im saying. Compared to strong banks like COMB SAMP NDB their financials are very poor. Im telling based on their earnings like EPS P/E NAVKavinduTM wrote:Which banks? UBC,PABC and ABL? Gimme a fair reason.
I hope LFIN is better than those banking shares.ThilinaM wrote:UBC clearly overvalued. PABC z undervalued but there are better banks to invest than PABC.
NDB is best option in current price range before divident. sam also good at 160 . any way banks are not lucrative now
its good but not shown satisfactory growth on 2019ThilinaM wrote:PABC is in a middle of investigation. after that price will reach 15+ .

Lets take UBC,
Profit after taxes grew by 36% YoY
Net Interest Income up 21% YoY
Total Capital Adequacy Ratio is 16.3%
Total Operating Income YoY Growth was 19%
Total average CASA YoY Growth was 22%
Operating Expenses increased by 5%
Total asset growth was -8%
And lets compare it with your favorite share. SAMP,
Total Capital Adequacy Ratio was 15.65% {While UBC's 16.3% (Higher is better)}
Total asset growth is 4.1% (Its higher than UBC btw)
Profit after tax decline by 23.5% (While UBC's PAT grew by 36%)
Operating Expenses increased by 9% (While UBC's increased only by 5%)
Total average CASA Growth was 0.9% (While UBC"s CASA Grwoth is 22%)
Total Operating Income YoY Growth was 13.4% (While UBC's Growth is 19%)
Green = (+) points for UBC
Red = (-) points for UBC
So we got +5 points and only -1 >>> +5-1 = +4
Conclusion :- Invest in UBC for a better gain.
