Abans Financial Services (AFSL) - Crazy prices?

Abans Financial Services (AFSL) got listed today through Introduction.

Its book value is Rs 9.5 per share, and its FY11 EPS is Rs 1.15 (net profit of Rs 42.4 mn, divided by 37 mn shares).

Reference price was Rs 9.5

But share opened at Rs 51, and is now at Rs 104.5 with over 9,000 shares traded - wonder how many of the people who bought AFSL today read the Introductory Doc or know the valuations ?

They are buying hoping that they can pass on this to someone else at a higher price. Someone is going to buy at the peak and suffer the losses.

I felt something like this going to happen but never thought this would touch 100. my expectation was around 30. So I chased this from the start but every time someone over bid me. Finally I got this at 104. But then it was too late the maximum price you can sell was 104.50. for my luck there was many people there to buy at 104.50. At least I was wise enough not to keep it.

My losses were minimum since I got only 200. But think of the profit to the person who got at 51. Smile

low liquidity will boost the share price,
about AMF,1st day buyer ddnt sold yet,yesterday buyer may sell today,this cycle will remain until big sell order push the price down.
btw i dnt like the way these introduction shares trading,but it gives me profit Wink
