The widespread belief is that gold shines during economic crises. There is something in it, as the safe havens often thrive when economies are struggling, while markets are in turmoil.

Gold prices gained on Monday in Asia as traders seek safe-haven from escalating virus fears. 

Gold Futures for April delivery gained 0.9% to $1,664.15 by 12:58 AM ET (04:58 GMT). The yellow metal gained 3.8% last week, hitting its 7-year highs. 
Citigroup said that it expects gold to hit $1,700 in the next six to 12 months and $2,000 in the next 12 to 24 months.

Gold will “outperform on a risk market unwind should coronavirus risks impact supply chains and thus U.S. earnings momentum,” Citigroup’s precious metals analysts led by Ed Morse said.

Reports on Monday said China is easing some restrictions in the Wuhan province and will allow non-local residents to leave the city at the center of the outbreak. Meanwhile, Guangdong, which has the most confirmed infections after Hubei, lowered its coronavirus emergency response level from its highest this morning. 

Gansu, Liaoning, Guizhou, Shanxi and Yunnan also have, the state-run People’s Daily reported earlier, citing local governments. 

The news came as the total number of virus cases climbed past 77,000 in China. 

Outside of China, South Korea confirmed 763 cases of the virus, while Iran’s government confirmed 43 casesand Italy has 152 cases.

When the EAST announced Rs.8.50 dividend, heavy selling pressure mounted, bigwigs sold EAST @ 19.50 but our retails expert bought that EAST even @ 21.50, after the dividend XD date EAST came to 7.50.

After the internal land transection in year 2016, Bartleet stock brokers with their own equity research department sold huge quantity of HEXP @97.50, Their prediction was 1000% accurate /correct. our retail experts influenced by propaganda machine predicted HEXP will be @ 300/- but never reached that 300/-

 after that, for the four years HEXP was below 93/- and even when down to 65/- excellent propaganda work was done here, that time too our retail expert and feeble pensioners were lined up for HEXP @ 112/- 


After four years long wait, desperate retailers finally sold HEXP between 95 and 65 

Here in both cases who is intelligent retail experts?

 I also agree with this, Foreigners are not fools they know our external debt issue. Even I put my money back, August 2020 is the month. if USD rate goes like skyrocket they loose their net worth. so the market can go further below but the general election is also a considerable factor for the short term.
