@cheetah,

100% corrected you.,

Most of the people didn't consider CSD. But, CSD is the best dividend stock. the last ime, they paid Rs.1.10 as a dividend even earned EPS 1.30. this time can expect a dividend over Rs.1.30 per share.

Today some positive sign of property stocks.

So many members asked about CSD, i found below (do your own Analysis )

CSD net asset value per share - 33 Rupees
Annualized EPS - 1.50 LKR
Dividend per share above 1+ LKR
Trading price 1/3 of NAVPS

CSD last 5 years continously paid dividends. Csd and onal can be hidden gems. Onal also very less selling below 30

CSD has been paying good dividend, increasing every year. Based on past trends and latest results, I expect that the company will declare a minimum dividend of Rs 1.20 in Feb '21. That's a dividend yield of 8.8% based on current market price of Rs 13.70 per share.

Disclosure: I hold a significant quantity of CSD shares.

Most of the counters in the property sector shows similar figures. why only CSD should outperform other counters in the sector price wise???

@celtic tiger: Show me one other property sector counter that yields 8.8% p.a.

In these volatile times, I am sticking to high dividend yield shares, and have been biased towards CSD & LLUB. Both have given me decent capital appreciation, but it's the yield that I bought them for.

People who buys property companies should see the potential of CSD.

CSD Net asset value per share 33/= , trades @13.50,
CSD continue pays dividend last 5 yearplus ,yoy increased
CSD profit making company , in any valuation CSD can be valued 16 plus.
CSD has good cash flow
CSD has continuously increased the profit , annualized EPS 1.60 plus.
Most of the property companies they show the profit by revaluing their assets But CSD profit comes from orginal sales like rental etc..

Concerns are there are several stocks trading far below NAV., Sector PE is around 7.5 justifying the present trading price.

This can be adjusted to average payback to 8+- which is a higer dividend yeild stocks , not like some of other property companies , paying regular dividend but not cheating share holders. This share is more suitable for an investor who wishes to maintain a dividend portfolio. In a world class valuation CSD can be valued 17.42 LKR ,in asian valuation 16plus LKR. Sready share with less risk.

Too risky to buy at 14 level
Should settle around 13 level before making the next run to 16 level.

Agree it is too risky to buy now as this one at a major R level now. Better to buy back around 12 - 13 levels.

@spindain,
As you wish price may come back due to price suddenly goes up without reasonable reasons. Think twice, before touch @ this level. CSD is very good one, this level too high. I feel like i will sell my whole CSD shares @ this level and buy back when it settle  at bottom level. It will happen when this CSD heat goes out.

This share is a better than a fixed deposit . It has paid continously dividend still attractive till 16/-, its not like other property companies its trading 130% discount on its Navps. Reputed auditors have certified its financials still revaluation also possible . You can not think traditional way of investing in currency depreciated scenario in a property market. Last 3 years time rupee depreciated 30%, the same way property should appreciated also . Building generates depreciation even though location and property prices still in attractive.
Only investors can see its potential . GL

Dear All,

With continues Dividend growth from year 2011, average of 40% Dividend growth and last two years almost 10-15 % dividend growth rate maintained, I think CSD will declare around 1.2 to 1.5 DPS this time.

And one of a under value share in the market with safe PE around 10 & NAPS Rs 33/-

And good guaranteed Dividend % around 7% based on last year dividend declared (Rs 1.10)with current market price (Rs 16/)with Apartment Renting Business despite FD Interest rate around 4%-5%.

I think with dividend announcements at this week can expect price hike or Rs. 18/- easily.

Good dividends history...
Not a buy recommendation... (I tell this @ Rs.11.00)
