If that is so Kgalle and Horana Lovers would be happy. Any how with signals in the oil market we can expect a price rise in rubber. Other major point is increasing demand for motor vehicles in India and China. In other asian market too demand for motor vehicles is rising. Inceasing helth care factors also pushing the demand for rubber glouse and many other rubber items such as rubber boots for factory workers and farmers etc.

If rubber price is rising, it wouldn't be a good news for DIPD, REXP, SIL and TYRE. However DIPD may benefit from it's subsidiary KVAL.

most of you have forgotten ELPL.

ELPL rubber products get the best price in the market due to their renowned quality.

last year we had a higher prices for rubber, but many of gains were wiped off by the rain

about rubber rich KOTA-

"The annual rubber production of KOTA was 2,995,712 Kgs recording a shortfall of 21% against the annual budget..........the main reason was very unfavorable weather....also normal tapping days were restricted to 160,where budgeted tapping days of 240".(From KOTA annual report-FY11)

as we see, there is nothing wrong with prices, its all due to inherited risk of the industry,so if we can expect favorable weather condition, rubber rich companies will record good results in coming qtrs.
its my opinion
