This was expected from the construction sector blue chip. In the near future it has the potential of reaching previous highs!

I think Ranjan Gomes director sold around 24 million of his shares today. Total traded 34 million odd. He had 30 million total to sell as per June report. Maybe he sold more in the market. So his selling is done now I guess. Which is good. This share with the market movement and also construction resuming and new government looks a positive spin. I think we er looking at 30/- in this rally.

Construction sector led economic growth is a new phenomenon to Sri Lanka which has been witnessed by our regional neighbours India & Pakistan in the past. With yesterdays 25 Mn transaction ( bought by NDB wealth Fund ) AEL has no selling pressure at all .

Assume AEL will hit Rs 30/- very soon and slowly reach Rs 40/-

as per the information I gathered from the Trading Floor .....

yesterday's downward trend was artificial .. as some party wanted to kept the share below Rs 22.50 .

but the buying was so heavy as traders were so positive on the counter.

all parties knew that yesterday's trading should started from Rs 23/- and move further . but due to the above mentioned artificial manipulation it was brought down to the closed price Rs 22.20 .

today .. a few thousand of shares can be traded at Rs 22/- at the very beginning of the morning ... but heavy push can be expected towards Rs 23/- during the course of the day.

can expect the entrance of Market Players to the counter by next week and push the prices towards Rs 30 - Rs 35 range within a very shorter time period.

Why don’t we put it as “NDB Wealth Management” purchased this stock expecting the company to perform in post covid environment now.

*NDB Wealth Management is the No 1 Wealth Management Company* i find it difficult for the management to make a stupid decision with the purchase of AEL if they expect a 20% price drop. Should be the other way around

I consider the purchase as a positive sign. Please correct me if i am wrong. Thank you.
