Sri Lanka’s local pharmaceutical products market is worth Rs. 130 billion, yet the contribution of local pharmaceutical manufacturers is a mere Rs. 16 billion. One of the companies that have been contributing to this local share is Lina Manufacturing (Pvt) Ltd., the pharmaceutical manufacturing arm of homegrown conglomerate Sunshine Holdings PLC.

Being a relatively new addition to the resilient Sunshine Group, Lina is striving to increase local pharmaceutical manufacturers’ share in the market while also having export plans for the long term.
