Both will likely have a super run if the proposal for Pfizer vaccine distribution gets approval from ministry of health

Which Vaccine

In My view, Logistic arrangement for Pfizer vaccine will be a nightmare for Developing Country like Sri Lanka. Even if GOSL chose that i don't think it will be a Mass Vaccination. May be a targeted, limited focus for VIPs and Medical Staff.

However AstraZeneca one will be more easy to handle and less costly.

Procurement

So next question will be GOSL going to procure the Vaccine through WHO / Covax Program / Direct or Partner with HHL & EXPO.

Probably we have to wait at least 2Q-2021 for the answers.

My opinion is As Investor, we should not jump to conclusion overnight and start buying HHL & EXPO tomorrow. WAIT!

The best share to buy is EXPO now not the HHL. EXPO run is due for more than 2 months. After a very good consolidation EXPO is going to break Rs30/ & heading towards Rs35/ before Dec Q20 results

Covax and WHO will not give the total requirement. So there will be additional purchasing needed of the vaccine which ever one it might be. These have to be procured immediately as there is a waiting line globally. SO the decisions will be made in the coming weeks. Expo will do well this quarter too. The price target 35 is justified with or without the vaccine delivery. The upsides are still there is a second wave in Europe so mask and PPE deliveries are happening. Plus freight rates are on the climb giving Expo even better margins. I am very bullish on Expo. Disclosure: I am holding Expo. Happy Trading.

EXPO is so aggressive after breaking Rs30/ all important barrier. The next targets of Rs35/ & Rs40/ will achieve in a very short time period because EXPO was under collection more than 2 months between Rs25 - Rs27.50 range...

Expo and HHL will gain full advantage of vaccine. HHL around 115 and Expo 40.
They will busy with Q3 Financials and vaccine buying announcement from government
