CINV NAV for 31 Dec 2020 will likely be Rs 145+ and is currently trading at Rs 90 approx.

CINV has a super quarter due to both it's investments channels being very fruitful.

1. Investments in Palm Oil (Equity Accounted Investee) - Price of Palm oil has skyrocketed for the last quarter by over 35%. Last Quarter it reported Rs 2.9B profit and I expect this to be Rs 4b this quarter.

Source : https://markets.businessinsider.com/commodities/palm-oil-price

2. Investments in listed equity in the Colombo Stock exchange has generated at least 20% returns as the index rose by 15% approx in the last quarter.

Usually WAPO - CINV - GUAR Financials are released at the same time. However, CINV and GUAR were not realeased today despite WAPo being published. CINV parent GUAR will also benefit from this super performance.

Even If we forget about the returns earned by the company in 2021 the company has strong potential to earn given the prices of Palm Oil remains at these levels. I also expect a good dividend this quarter.

I am not disclosing a target price. Consider this as an investment idea - do your own research and set your own target price if you are to proceed.

Disclosure : I am holding CINV

We can forget the CSE Investments and just consider the earnings it's palm oil investments will bear in 4Q20.

Malaysian benchmark CPO spot prices touched USD900/tonne in December 2020 for the first time since 2012 and averaged at around USD810/tonne in 4Q20 to date. This was significantly higher than the USD660/tonne average in 3Q20.

I am disgusted how people chase stop splits and ignore value stocks as these. It's a matter of time before retail investors burn there hard earned money.
