Central Industries PLC manufactures and markets polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipes and fittings under the National PVC brand. The Company also manufactures and supplies electrical switches, sockets and circuit breakers under the Krypton brand. Its segments are Water Management Products and Electrical Products. Its product portfolio includes PVC ball valves, PVC solvent cement, rigid and flexible electrical conduits, rectangular snap-on conduit casings, PVC garden hoses, rain gutters, pipes and fittings for rainwater and soil waste management. Its product portfolio also includes light dimmers, fan controllers, bell pushes and switch mounting boxes for domestic use. Guys, CIND was trading over Rs 100.00 few years back and now trading at a huge discount.
P/E is well below 10 and NAV is over Rs 100.00

Very illiquid share and always deliver good dividends.

Really good company with very solid performances.

Truly a hidden gem.

Delivered one of most consistence profits in CSE. Especially in difficult times.

2010  EPS  Rs8.65
2011  EPS  Rs7.48
2012  EPS  Rs10.71
2013  EPS  Rs9.74
2014  EPS  Rs7.65 (Some can argue 2013,2014 profits down compare to 2012 but they spent money on a new factory)

CIND is the manufacture of all National PVC pipes, fitting, water tanks & KYPTON electoral switches. Also the CILTEC electrical conduits.  National brand is one of the best selling pipes/fitting brand in Sri Lanka
They are widening the KYPTON product range at the moment due to higher demand.
CIND is also the distributor of HITACHI power tools.

They always deliver 40% profit to small investors.
CIND is an illiquid share that is massively undervalued. This was trading over Rs 100.00 not a long ago.

Power tools and PVC aregood one for any nation who is chasing infrastructure. Raw material price is based on Crude oil and currency fluctuation.
CFL is another good area.
How about their Market Share?

You must be living in a dream world. According to you, we shouldn't be investing in more than 80% of the listed companies at CSE.

Most of the rest show low PE due to one off gains.

That left shares only show low PE due to one off gains.

Long term inventers have to say big big talks about the shares they own ne. Just like with PALM (now less big talks).

For new inventers 1.3 EPS is just not good enough, there are enough CSE companies with better EPS growth. Long term inventers can happily hold getting Rs 3 every year.

Regarding PALM when I initially mentioned that, it was trading around Rs70.00 and if you are really desperate you can still exit with 40% profits.

Can you name a single share that gave any benefit to small investors?

Experts sold SERV when they announced the right issue at Rs 10.00 but see where it is now. It was losing money not a long ago. Something will happen with PALM. Most companies don’t do right issues to play Casino. Highly talented experts, Gurus in public forums cant understand that. They think all the listed companies are similar to PC house. Companies can’t do upgrades, expansions without spending money. Unless they have platinum mines on their own land they have to find ways to find that money. Hope your brain can understand that.

When I mentioned the CHOT, it was trading at Rs14.10. An expert like you may consider that as a business does n’t make enough profits. Whoever bought it at the time must be enjoying staggering 70% return on their investment. Some expert can’t understand this very basic. They need everything on their plate without much effort.

CIND recently expand their business by opening a new factory. If you have no clue then go and have a look on AR and a bit of newspaper reading.

Those who own the share (like you) have to make big big talks. So good work doing the big big talks.

New inventers should not get caught to such big big talks because 1.3 is not good enough.

2012 EPS 10.7 2013 EPS 9.7, 2014 EPS 7.7 2015 EPS 5.5???? Some will find difficult to understand the basic reduction in EPS towards down the pallang.

Nothing for new inventers to pay 65 for, but big big talks will continue from those who hold the share.

Jiggyasuru, can you name a single share that help investors to make money? Also name a company expand without spending money. When companies expand they have to take loans, right issue, reducing profits.

sERV is a very good example.

Some expert saints cant understand & give pora talks to others bcos of jealousy.

ofcourse llub expanded with sooper good investment for their new blending plant from accurals.
nestle did. ROE is important tool.
But certain cyclic/small/mid cap companies cant do it without debts or equity dilution. CIND is very good in water management projects but Gov lags on those spending. when gov achieves water management related projects, then CIND will have windfall gains. their krypton yet to kick off with bigbang. so patience required in this counter. but certainly it will be biggest gainer if infra growth kicks in.
