Sri Lanka recorded the world's most COVID-19 vaccinations by percentage of population last week.
This was recognized by Our World in Data, a data analysis website related to COVID-19.
They pointed out that 13% of the Lankan population has been vaccinated against COVID-19 during the past week.
According to the data, Ecuador comes in second, followed by Brunei. New Zealand is ranked fourth, with Australia ranking at 10th place.

Further, Our World in Data states that 40.2% of the world population has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
5.44 billion doses have been administered globally, and 35.64 million are now administered per day.
Only 1.8% of people in low-income countries have received at least one dose.
