Key HNWIs strategically selling off and moving to profitable counters as EXPO has reached maturity.

Retailers and New comers beware!!!!!!

New comers will always be at a loss as all the existing holders have bought at very low prices and can easily pump by collecting high then averaging up and then selling once retailer momentum is built.

Interesting. capital trust seems sold and bought..

is it to maintain the price Rolling Eyes

As most expected in various groups, EXPO expected to pass 400 levels after capital trust session but market reacted other way.. any EXPO experts to give some insight whether to hold further or sell..

Expo has matured will soon stagnate.

Was the best share last two years. Not any more.

Best to capitalize on high growth stocks with much more potential.

I also think share prices of a Banks WILL GO UP very soon .
Only problem is people are not sure about dividend payment in 2022.

Actually bank can pay dividend in this year . But shareholders are not sure

Yes it should go up or go down but long and medium term investments are too high for expo.n an its trading qty now I think only arround 50 to 60 Mn could be and if you analyse over 50 mn shares were traded during almost 2 month period for over 365

We have to tell and educate our member hold or buy when others panic since this is a business with great fortune...

I think before you posting comment like this you have to clarify above thing also.

Otherwise I think you very much of like to buy from panic sellings.

It is was usual when accounts out of such credit clearing and panic selling. But if you analysed and know the real growth prospect of the company why you should then join to that panic parties

Hi all,

SL Market is reacting to HNI if the EXPO reacted to TOP 20 list published today. Many crooks who wanted buy low or wanted other shares to be PUMPED active. Top 100 list is a 1%~5% allocation of weight IMO.

For example, #EXPO Top 100 list comes often & if anybody afraid to BUY @ 28/- when Mr Ken Balendran sold, he/she wouldn’t REGRET in BIG TIME by now

Irrespective of who bought or sold, it’s the CO. FUNDAMENTALS matters. Everyone will realize the after the financials are out and any possible announcements over EXPOs next moves of GROWTH

Essentially what you’re trying to say is “if anyone wants to SELL EXPO, still the price is very attractive. Kindly do so. Also, new comers don’t BUY EXPO”

When EXPO was Rs 28/- Fist Capital research came out with a report which have a price of Rs 23/- and said it’s over appreciated. Now today EXPO reached Rs 400/-

Hence, no point telling repeatedly about your opinion. Let the market to decide it and patiently wait for FINANCIALS and GROWTH STRATEGY announcements of the CO. CEO to decide whether EXPO is over or undervalued

Don't understand what is Kratos problem...if any new investor feel it's overvalued then he will stay away or if they believes in companies fundamentals and growth potential he will buy...

Why he is crying here...if he wants to sell then sell and leave...over 10mn shares traded above 380 in last 3 days alone...if anyone dosen't believe in EXPOs growth potential..price would have crashed long back...

Think before act.

Look at strong holding percentage of the share holding. I don’t think that you can show to me similar holding in any shares. Even your favourite group. You can find such holding only in a potential growth company. Way to go. Dogs bark caravan moves on…

My personal view is when market pick up sell slowly your holdings of expo .
One day expo should trade 200-250 level and stagnate there .
With the corrections of logistics ,earnings will be lowering .

Hi all,

I view BANKS and FINANCE sector as good investment purely based on NAV at the current market sentiment.

However, following 6 reasons would hinder SIGNIFICANT GROWTH in earnings potential

1. CBSL capped interest rate (e.g. Housing Loans CAPED @ 7%)
2. CASHFLOW delays as a result of moratorium facilities which are still not completed and borrowers less intentions to settle debt due to economic hard ships
3. ASSET and LIABILITIES mismatch
4. High Level of NPA resulting increases PROVISIONAL cover and BASEL III complied CAPITAL REQUIREMENTS
(Eg- Some Banks had best NPA during 2015~16 @ 1.6% are still around 5% or more which would eventually increase further with moratorium defaults)
5. High levels of foreign sell, with a 10% appreciation in share prices due to low country rating by rating agencies
6. Low growth in private sector credit growth

So, what i feel is the hit spiked from COVID19 was passed to Banks by the Government and now it is being realized in their financials with a SUPER GAIN TAX of 25% and SOCIAL SECURITY LEVY of 2.5% (charged on operating income)falling in last Q ending 2021/22

However, any lift in DIVIDENDS for FY 2020/2021 by CBSL, the banks may record hikes in share price in line with overall positive sentiment in the market but bit difficult to SUSTAIN as it may trigger foreign sell calls due to rating downgrades by Moody's and Fitch

Hence if you wish to hold for about 9~12 months, banks will be a super investment giving best returns

Respect your view. However, EXPO has made USD BILLIONS of money during last 2 years which the Co. continues to INVEST in GEOGRAPHIC MARKET EXPANSIONS and ACQUISITIONS.

Hence, forward thinking accounting the POTENTIAL NEW BUSINESS coming from THESE NEW INVESTMENTS would be smart to decide in which price EXPO would trade

Currently, another new development happening with geo political unrest between US & RUSSIA which might further fuel increase in freight rates in coming months together with OMICRON while small dips can occur time to time

All in all, the following are few strong facts which makes EXPO a GIANT in CSE.

1. C19 & supply shortage

It will come down 50% end of this year ( mark my words )
Expo will trade and settle 200-250 level .

Oh dear...If you think freight rates are the only the contributing factor to their profit then you haven't studied the counter properly... There are so many elements to consider... freight rates are bonus factor also EXPOs shipping long term deals are already done for CY 22.

EXPOs future strategy is not depend on freight rates but their systematic acquisition in new regions to find new customers/brands to increase volume... Which they will reveal very soon
