Market is still unstable. Entering into speculatives can burn you even further. Maybe GREG will go up time to time on news and manipulation but if you are new to market best to be careful with it. After the last run we do not know the bottom yet as it seems to b estill dropping.

This is normal with Greg.
This is highly manipulative share. Therefore no point of doing detailed technical analysis.
Just analyse the price range it is moving.
If u buy it very high u have to average it.
Personally I like this share because it is very liquid. But oneday I may burn my fingers too.

Capital trust says in their Technical analytical outlook report - 4.7.2011

Daily FT in their Saturday, July 3rd issue stated and we quote: “The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is said to have issued a “notice of action” to Environmental Resource Investments (ERI) this week. The capital market regulator’s move is following the completion of its findings and the notice is over an issue of lack of or non-disclosure of a related party. The article also went on to say that “Officials of the SEC and ERI were not available for a confirmation but did not say how authentic is the information without the SEC and ERI commentary.

After the terrible month of June at the CSE when ASI & MPI fell by 591 points and 545 points respectively, wiping out billions of Rupees from client portfolios, the month of July started on Friday on a more positive note. Today’s market direction will be determined largely by the movement in GREG group shares and warrants and the revival of other popular stocks. First date for conversion of GREG W0001 warrants fall on Thursday, July 7th. CLPL W0017 warrant and the underpriced REEF W0017 warrant too are due to mature shortly. Still the grossly underpriced blue chips are lamenting in the doldrums. Plantation companies are likely to benefit immensely by the Government’s decision to provide a massive fertilizer subsidy for all under the ‘Mahinda Chintana Idiri Dekma’ programme. (E.g. A small bag of fertilizer that was retailed earlier at Rs. 75 is now sold at only Rs. 20). There will translate into huge profits this year for companies engaged in agricultural production, forestry and supply of fertilizer. All plantation companies as well as companies such as TWOD, CIC, HAYL etc. are expected to benefit from this bold and wise move of the Government.
Vallibel One excess application money will be returned to applicants this week. During the last week of June market players dumped some ‘popular stocks’ to get margins released to play the lucrative GREG group shares and warrants. mong the popular stocks only LITE is still left with a BUY signal (Parabolic SAR and MACD), after last week’s sell off (pl. see the ‘Hot Stocks’ attachment).

In the international scenario the US market continued to surge ahead on Friday with the S&P 500 moving up in leaps and bounds ahead of the US national day holiday on the 4th of July. (pl. see the ‘index charts’ attachment)
RSI’s of ASI & MPI daily charts are still at alarming lows of 25 & 22!!! RSI’s of the ASI and the MPI are still well inside the Oversold Region (below30).
