it says 5000 shares sold @ 1500Rs on july 5th. but today price range for dimo was 1,400.00 - 1,426.00. and traded volume was 6400, i'm confused,can any one know what happed ???

It may be an off the flow transaction similar to a crossing. (Not sure. don't have much knowledge in that area). But who'll buy it at 1500 when it is there to buy at 1400 Question

But there's no crossings today for Dimo

Yes I am confused too.. Any way its a + sign ....
FYI only Mr. Algama is selling DIMO shares other directors didn't sell

That announcement seems incorrect. I saw a lot of 5000 shaes dumped today at the trading floor which was sold in the range from 142X to 1400, last lot of shares being traded at 1400. Perhaps we can expect a correction.

its not a big deal if directors sell or buy,but we should take consider it also..
you can go through annual reports of companies and try to figure out the profiles of the directors(degrees,experience, achievements, etc)
if such director who sold shares continuously,-is a FINANCE MANAGER or higher post relate to FINANCE management in the company with sound knowledge and experience about finance stuff,then things may be worth to investigate,bcoz finance manger is the one who foresee the future,he may always try to minimize his risk exposure..

In many companies some of the family members on their own purpose dispose shares . That doesn't mean that major shareholders are exiting. These kinds of things are happened sometime. I do not think it is a serious matter. He had sold some shares even in 2010.

ipoguru, I am not sure whether this director is intending to resign and I do not know why he is gradually dumping his shares. This may be purely personal.

I am giving more consideration when directors buying shares of their own companies rather than the opposit. When someone choose to invest his own money, we can expect that decision to be rational and financially motivated. But when someone sells, it may be due to personal reasons apart from being financially diven. Does it make any sense?
