Why I started this topic is because lenders have not given positive feedback (They would have given a word sooner provided officials/politicians had a good plan) and unless anyone has access to leaked videos in "closed door" meetings, there is really no way to reaffirm commitment , coupled with the fact that nobody knows howmany times they (IMF) had meeting on Sri Lanka and whether lenders have refused to lend to corrupt politicians. (basically howmany times decision relating to lending to SL has been postponed/rejected). Everybody expected a positive feedback by this month(December). But now the word is that there will be decision by next month. Who is to say they will postpone it further while children suffer due to malnourishment and vulnerable groups suffer because of shortage of medicine?
