Those days you can hardly find a thread with less than 5 replies or less than 250 views. But now it’s bit hard to find a topic with at least 5 replies or couple of hundred views.
Does it mean the quality of topics has been deteriorated or too many similar sort of threads or simply people lost interest?

Can we just check at least two/three pages before add a new thread?

This one of the topic to be discuss. My humble request to our members, please search the forum before you open a new thread. If you find the right topic and still need more clarification, you may write in the same thread rather opening duplicated topics.

Further, please avoid copy paste from news paper article to Stock Market Talk unless there is a discussion needed. We have a separate section for Stock Market News.

I have posted some statistics below. No of topics and replies have grown tremendously during last 3 months, likewise the total number of members, unique visitors and the page hits. It is just that the members have not been disciplined enough to follow forum guidelines which has created an extra workload for the current moderator team.

Moderator to Member ratio is less than 1%. We have approximately 3,500 members but there are less than 20 Moderators which seems in adequate considering that current circumstances. Current situation may require us to appoint few more active and respected members as moderators to support the forum.

Moderators have the ability to merge similar topics and bundle them into one using the moderator panel. I used to do this before and I am sure my fellow moderators will extend their support in time to come.

I can not agree with u brother.There are lot of us even in this worst time.Just check the form statistics for last 2 months.

I think view calculation done with register and unregistered both. but once register only you can put the post. if the register people increase the more comment will come.
Also with the good topic always more viewers give their opinion

im nt happy some authorized editors on this forum ...bcoz i saw their few comments, those are rediculus...they think they are the best....bt those are useless...

wel... I`m highly disappointed the way u give reputation and points. you cannot allow all the ppl to do that since they can use it in a ron way ( ppl can join hands with each and other and make someones reputation n points to go high.Eventually new comers and quick readers get mis-directed. And some promote the shares they ve bn stucked for sometime.

And most of the ppl ve post unwanted posts more than 100 and they ve recognize here as managers. some are acting as senior managers and they still invest on shares only by lookin from financial angel. Well.. its fine but they criticize others post by looking from that angle. ( which s totally wrong).

Im happy of the strategies u guys have implemented but u guys need to wrk on these loopholes before the page lose the quality and the demand. Hope u guys will take the above mention loopholes into consideration.

We've discussed about these reps in many threads, many suggestions and implementations carried out on development feedback.. On the other hand, we had to save the genuine posters here just express their views.. ppl started giving them - reps just becuz they dont wanna hear the truth and dont agree with their views. (well we should have a brief idea how they should do their investments once we see their reactions..) Still there're ppl who misuse the forum..
In an open forum like this, its hardly we can focus 100% on everything.. so its also up to the forum members to report anything suspicious and promotional cuz the motive is; u give some, u get some Wink

its a win-win scenario for all then..

Global Mods should look in to DUPLICATE THREADS !! Honestly its a pain to see the same thing over and over again .

Anyways from admin's side the SEARCH function should be somewhat MORE visible to the members...
