What i mean net interest income -141 million is 29% of their total interest income. that is quit high % from the total interest income.

There will be a reason like their deposit way above their lending. thats may be the reason.

i think this is mainly due to deposits they undertook during the period where interest rates peak at 20%, also there chairman told that they are having discussion to reschedule the interest rates on the loans obtained at higher interest rates

Back on track in terms of profits but did you guys see that bank overdraft has increased to 1billion from 500mn and as someone pointed out negative assets. Still some way to go.

That back overdraft increase due to negative CF operation. even the net interest income also negative.

True true. Both Interest income and exp have fallen from 09. However interest income has out passed the rate of int exp decline. Note 8 The result for the quarter ended 30th June 2011 include gains and income recognized from shares and other investments amounting to Rs 325 mn which may not be available in the subsequent periods due to prevailing market conditions.

So Q3 most probably no profits?

My father has over 220,000 @20 so will have to wait for more than 6 months to at least break even, (assuming they will be fundamentally strong by recording net interest income etc) . Or we could see a bull run like we always do on CSE for no reason so my old man can dump them. If you can have his patience you should not be bothered about TFC for few months.
