CFVF has invested on a financial company,Orient Financial Services Cooperation Ltd. There was a little movement end of the day. How will be tomorrow? will this have any effect?. Dividend XD date falls on 5th.so before Friday will this hit at least 25?

Almost 20%, 19.99%. but, i dont know about this institute that they have invested in. What is this Orient Financial Services Cooperation Ltd?

yeah this was a subsidiary of united motors. they sold it to janashakathi group few weeks ago. janashakthi group is the holders of cfvf too.

Thanks Econ i found the news on the net.UML has sold it in February.

This how the news was bublished on News 360.lk

United Motors Lanka PLC has sold its
stake in Orient Financial Services Corporation Limited to People’s
Venture Investment Company (Private) Limited.
Accordingly the UML will dispose the entire 23,999,995 million shares
it owns in the Orient Financial Services to the People’s Venture
Investments for a value of Rs. 230 million.

A stock market filing by UML announced that, an agreement in this regard was signed yesterday.

Peoples Venture Investments is a subsidiary of Janashakthi Group.

I.O CFVF. Its stagnant at 22 level couldnt pass 23. ppl are not interested,even its under value. ppl wend after EAST,which declared .50 dividend,but didnt even look at CFVF. tomorrow is the last day before the XD date on 5th,hope it will touch at least 24 tomorrow.

Don't worry windi. it will touch 24 or 25 within tomorrow. It's a good dividend than EAST. People are blindly go after rally's then burn their fingers. but intelligent investors take there chances get real benefit.

in every recent dividend I lost more than i gained from dividend due to steep decrease in price after the DIV. e.g KOTA

we saw the same story with HOPL yesterday
So this time I decided to drop this before XD (Bought at 21.4 sold at 23.2)

if can hold few weeks,it will rise.This is not end of everything. CFVF is a good company,this quarter results also prove that.So keep your nerves calm,it will come to its real value soon. I love you
