*I know most of you guys will not agree with me regarding this matter after seeing some of the recent posts in the forum & latest financial reports .

*But I don't think that these shares will fall by a huge margin tomorrow, Even if it fall by some considerable amount, I'm sure they'll bounce back soon in coming days & weeks .

*On the other hand if they fall to the values @ which they were trading a week before, I would be more than happy to collect more .

*When considering the fact that only a little percentage of these shares are being liquidly traded in comparison with the amount of shares being listed, I don't think there'll be enough sellers to drag these shares down significantly .

*In my opinion people who sell their cars , buki or cinv shares tomorrow are panic sellers, they are the ones who get mislead after seeing the posts in this forum (No offense to the posters though ) Smile

*I think you all understand the fact that all these companies are really solid organizations with really strong fundamentals . In my opinion
IT'S A SOLID LIFE TIME INVESTMENT

*Obviously I agree to the fact that these are not good shares for short term trading, even for mid term investments I won't recommend these, they are really good long term investment shares .I bought (& will be buying) these shares thinking that I'm investing money in a fixed deposit, I'll think of selling them only when I wanna take all my money out . I'm planing on filling up at least 50% of my portfolio with cars & buki & trade with other 50% .

*I welcome all your thoughts regarding this, both positive & negative
Thanks.

I wonder how many bought them on credit.
Naya karayo are the cause for all the problems in the CSE.

It is very good if you all can go with imergent gems in the market.

for an example try to identify companies like BFL when those are trading at low.
BFL was at 40 before 10 months and now almost 450, but it is still trading at the projected PE of 10 to 12.
what a company.

Do u think warrent buffet ever invested in a company which went 1000% increment with in 10 months??????? never..........

So if any one of us can identify these GEMS before others he or she can retire early.

it is ok to collect fundementaly valued shares but it is long term and will take considerable time to get a solid gain......
go with the fact of future demand. not the PE. future demand will increase the EPS and it will also reduce the PE level even wlth 100% price increment.
this is bit risk and depend on ur analytical skill and prediction on the future growth.

thank you.

I guess there were reasons why poultry stocks run at a low PE ratio.
Anyway Warren Buffet didn't have a site like investnow.lk to promote BFL, PCH shares.

I agree with Smart money! Very Happy
I bought 1000 BUKI shares @ Rs.1800 on 2009October, now I have 10,000 shares and average price is Rs.180. That is the best investment I have ever done. I'm not going to sell my shares. I have more than 700% return. BUKI & CARS are the best investments. If it comes down tomorrow don't think twice to buy it.

yeah, it was because the cost of production was very high at that time. then things started turning around.

and the other thing is that warren buffet invested in a market that was generally far more efficient than this one and far more mature. The post war scenario also helped. So the potential of a turn around would have gotten discounted long before anyone can exploit the inefficiency

Dude I think Warren Buffet would have bought off BFL when it was trading at around 40 LKR. Laughing

Just out of curiosity what are the current factors of keeping Carson or Buki at the current prices if I may ask. I am aware that history of these shares are very rich. But what is the perceivable future for these shares?

Never get married to ur shares Twisted Evil
When you reach ur target sell them off.. buy back when u get another chance.. A market like CSE is all abt "what goes around, comes around" so u'll always get a chance to buy back low..
If anybody sold BUKI y'day around 1400 or more can enjoy benefits...

As stressed out several times by our valued mamabers, CARS group is a long term investment.. check the prices next yr and u may see ur investment growth.. But its sad to see ppl burnt their fingers trying to buy on top of the rally.. Evil or Very Mad

Investors who bought CARS BUKi don't panic. These shares will re-bounce to reach much greater heights. Just give it a little time.

Yes you are true. Already high forward PE ratio of around 80 is nothing it should hit like 100 PE ratio.

The worst part is how retard some investors and there reasoning. In one type of plantation(Palm oil) stocks up to PE of 80 while there are Plantations cultivated and improving there performance with same crop trading around PE of around 7-8. And these idiots come and say why these low PE plantations should not be trading over PE ratio over 10-12 because of the risks but go and buy Oil palm shares with 10 times over priced that already passed there prime!

If CARS can prove that next quarter onwards they are going to expand financially, there will be steady growth in the share prices. Investors are waiting to see the future trends, next quarter onwards group will have to authenticate on quarterly financial results that they are going to recover soon.
