Can any one remember an old blog forum called Investnow.lk?. It has been taking money to post a topic now it takes money even to read the bull shit. There are only handful of users are registered .No one is posting,a useful topic rather than same old bullshit, but the poor administrators are posting nonsense like crazy.

Who wants to pay $60 per year to read a perishing blog, when we have plenty for free. They are going back to the stone age.

lol!

They just deserve a Google group.. No need of this type of forum ...what they can do is set up a group (those who pay) and post their article into that

Charging for websites doesn't work these days! That was in the past. Facebook, Twitter, Skype, YouTube and all that are free(at least most of the features).. I don't think facebook or any other thing will be this successful if it had charged. World is moving towards the open source stuff and people expect these kind of services to be free. Earning from ads is a different thing. The owner of that site said you pay to be identified and not to express yourself, I wonder why do we have to pay to read?? He wanted to improve the quality of the site content but now its more or less BS!

A good enterprise wont highlight their competitor's faults rather highlight their own strengths.. i.e. IBM

Agreed. Also many of us may have been visiting that forum some time ago. So as past courtesy we should respect that too.

Yes True.. Even though I'm not a member I do have some respect for that site. But overall their second attempt is not a successful story.
