Do not rush to buy any 'fundamental' stocks early on Monday morning. All European & American markets fell significantly on Friday and we might see some red on the CSE too. Wait until a clear trend emerges after the Asian markets have opened.

US unemployment figures have minimal impact on SL, but "when America sneezes, the rest of the world catches a cold" sometimes.

On speculative stocks, I have no comments to offer... but I'm sure that you will get a lot of good advice here.

Welcome - and happy hunting! Smile

Go to the Search box (top right) and type 'BLUE'... You will find 8 posts and umpteen opinions from the past 24 hours. If this was a popularity contest, BLUE would do very well...! Laughing

Wait and see the market behavior from 9.30 to 10.30. If the things are going well go and pick Fundamentally strong shares which are at a discount in the current market context. But you must have the holding power at least till year end.

the company's profitability doesnt matter at the CSE. Lite, Aluf,CSF, are good examples. Rgem is a illiquid share, 2.4m shares in total and public holding is 79.42. Last 4 days shares volume is high.
29th August-50300
30th August-51600
1st September-31000
2nd September- 105,000
There seems to be a support at 75-76 and resistant at 84-85 .This might easily reach 90 in near future.

Hey Antonym

Did you notice something from last couple of days?
Seems like foreign sales are reducing and foreign purchases trying to takeover.

IF YOU ARE NEW TO THE MARKET BETTER TO INVEST IN UNDER VALUED SHARES RATHER THAN GOING FOR SPECULATIVE SHARES BLUE N000 IS ACCORDING TO MY OPINION IS RISKY IT MAY GO UP OR DOWN I DONT HAVE ANY COMMENTS ABT BLUE X ,IT IS BETTER TO INVEST IN BIL ,GLAS,MBSL,FLCH ,IF YOU LIKE TO TAKE A RISK AND GO AFTER SEMB N & SEMB X ARE MORE ATTRACTIVE THAN BLUE BECAUSE THERE IS A SPECULATION IT IS EYED BY ASHOK

Foreign buying is generally based on financial results, medium term large cap well established PLCs. They study Businesses with future potential. They concentrate on certain sectors with foreign exposure.

Investing in MBSL not gonna be a good idea as it seems that all the marvelous profit they were able to achieve were achieved through SHARE INVESTING. They had huge unrealized and realized losses from share trading in last quarter, with market not recovering as much as it dipped their results in this quarter wont be that great.
