expecting a closing price at 110 today.. let's see how it goes.. i see someone trying to drop the price to collect...

PE  (10) X annualized EPS (13.88) = 138
DPS (interim) - 4.5 (Ex div date - 24th Nov)

Some one put a block at 103.5 (15,000 shares) and suddenly sold 10,000 shares at 102 (avg) and again another 10,000 and more collection went with 100 to 101 gap...

TAFL and GRAN tax exempted for next 5 years...

what will happen if New entries to the industry ?? since gov have granted tax relief/exemptions and also a 50% income tax exemption for new listing. if the entity like JKH started a new one , what will happen ?

Govt Say " Income tax exemptions have been proposed for agriculture, livestock, and fisheries sectors for five years. In addition, a 50% income tax exemption has been proposed for local companies if get listed in the Stock Market before December 31, 2021. "


 Ex. maxies chicken can be entered to industry at larger scale.

in future, sometimes we can hope more competitive market in livestock. new entries can be expected as this the most favorable situation to enter the Livestock industry. 


hence this 5 years income tax exemption can be affected to the GRAN & TAFL adversely also.

AS U SAD , FIRST MKT ANALYSE THEN STRIKING STRATEGIES .

GRAN remains one of most benefited counters from the budget. Even leaving aside the budget, GRAN still remains a viable investment opportunity.

It is a known fact that consumption of FISH and BEEF has drastically gone down in the recent past. So the demand for Chicken has improved vastly. This coupled with the xmas season, should yield the best quarter for GRAN (as seen historically, Q3 is the best) and therefore we can safely assume a better Q3 than Q2. I am therefore expecting EPS closer to 20/- by 31st march. At 8x PE the fair value of this counter should be minimum 150-160/- levels. This is supported by 1. Obvious demand for Chicken for Foreseeable future 2. NAV at 125/- easily supports valuation of 150-160 levels for a manufacturing firm 3. Positive and healthy cash levels.

And add to that, a nice dividend yield too! So an investment now, can easily generate 40%+ returns in less than 1 year in capital appreciation + dividends.

With festival season ahead they may have increased sales in adding to that currently fish markets are mostly closed and people running fearful situation on fish. Ban on beef. Budget concession. All these will add great quarter results. Gran and all other poultry companies can reap the benefit... next quarter GRAN may have around 7-8 eps. They may go for one more dividend too. Why not piled up cash with the company.

One more point to add that the gradual reopening of hospitality sector will boost the consumption. Super good few upcoming quarters can be expected.

Get on board for the div XD is on the 16th. PBV is not bad compared to the tile sector PBV.
