Thats a good move, how ever if iran is black listed, sri lanka has to select America or Iran. As we can not go against America, we have to give up Iran. It will be a double hit for us .. CSE down not purely based on war but there is a fear upee will come down to 188 LKR, in such case foreigners will loose due to that reason foreigners and fund managers are going to exit. It expects rupee to reach life time low with in this week . If sanctions is imposed, india and sri lanka will highly effected. Some times it can be worse than war.

Oil pricess will go high usa imposed sambadaka against iran. so iran will up there oil prices others will also follow.

Do you meant to say 22.8 Billion turnover within a hour, is small as far as Colombo market is concerned? if we would have bought yesterday we would have made some, but now all have gone up within a short period.

Rupeee will down further , as estimate 188 LKR, surely foreigners will loose. So they will try more exits. If local fund can absorbs , there will not be issue. Other wise sorry. I believe jkh deal is a crossing , some times these are traps to manipulate the index

I buy small qty whn in new investment and after some time that becomes RED by a crash i go for more in bulk amounts Very Happy

and continue digging deep and increase the volume. i only do this for good company that i can have a personal gureentee that company will be in business for next 30 years and pay dividents.

@Teller - Im sure LLUB will again come to 60 . what do u think???

what are those 2 reasons??? I wish quickly my small investment become red so i can jump below with big amount. little issue with chevron they pay 2 rs every 3 months so if market do not came quickly to 60 its not usefull
