Mine:

SAMP@207,
COMB@106.50

(after some averaging + had some terrible losses from DFCC - decided to let go of DFCC after some analysis)

Just checking if I'm the only one holding onto these Laughing (and to feel good if there are better loosers Surprised)

I also had the urge to dump these and try one of those "high-risk-high-gain" shares but for some reason I'm sooo scared to try that lol!

Cheers!

My advice to you is to hold these. Slow and steady shares will win the game. COMB forward PE <10X and SAMP forward PE <7.5X, both with bright future.

COMB also borrowed $65 million dollars for SME loans and this will bring them good profits.

Cheers!

I also noted the news about COMB. In any case for me price going down is OK - more time to buy.... Having said that, it's kind of depressing to see other not-so-fundamental shares sky rocketing! Crying or Very sad

The current trend in CSE leads everyone to become mad, Yes, as u said all strong counters lost their attractiveness among the investors. last two day i could see massive selling presure to COMB and JKH. Everyone chasing speculative counters and ponies, that may be the reason that bluship are not performing these days. Further lack of liquidity and foreign particpation. However there were parcels of JKH changed to foreign investors. that shows some interst for foreign partcipation. Your picks are very storng @ current price, but u may have to hold it for long time.

I also bought DFCC @ 120 level, what to do..... Hold......

I have a small concern about their $6m deal. Since government going to devalue LKR, comb will get less LKR from this deal and will have to pay more LKR to buy dollars to pay it back.

Those who are saying fundamental stocks are also not moving need to think following points.
Most of the so called good value shares in one point were overvalued and keeping the same trend as good value shares.
If someone wants to invest in anything first he will think about risk, return (yearly) then capital appreciation.
If we see the most of the dividend giving companies, the dividend paying ratio to the market value is far below than the average savings account.
OK we can argue these good value shares will appreciate in price in future.
As we saw these good value shares little bit over valued then need some more time to get to a point giving average dividend above the FD or savings interest rate.
Up to that point the cry about fun-da-mental will appear in this forum.

Fundermental shares are very cheap at the moment, so those who have deep pockets could collect a load of them.

For example In 2011, my cash return from one of my fundermental share is Rs.32.50 per share.

I had DFCC when it was around 165 pale I kind of rushed into it and then realized it was overvalued at that time. It wan't an 'analysis' per se, just a rough evaluation of ratios and realized DFCC had a high P/E ratio because of dumping COMB shares. Current prices of DFCC are very attractive indeed, I remember once we discussed that DFCC would be fairly valued around 140 (can't remember exactly where), so your prices are just fine (you know better than me, I'm kind of a n00b here Smile)

One of my weaknesses is that I can't keep hard cash with me, there is this strong urge to invest it somewhere... this is why i got caught in DFCC at that time... No

Cheers!
