When I login to the forum to see the posts, above are the subjects I see everyday.. Hardly an analysis, a valid view point, something to really talk and learn being discussed these days..

I'm thinking.. Are forum members so desperate that they've got stuck and looking for a way to get out? How come even after so much of things said and done this happened? Are we that much of ignorant??

Some are over optimistic.. start the day with a thread such as "today's a green day.. " Wink I respect the attitude... but whats de point when the market goes down saying something like this?

Some are worse.. they come here to sell their shares to the rest of the members.. Especially ppl who follow illiquids are in trouble due to slow movements and they want to find a bigger fool to dump it.. Twisted Evil Twisted Evil I'm not saying those will not appreciate but at a certain time when u want to get out, u have to go for buyer's price.. So be careful..

The newest strategy is to create some news like this;

01) Brokers & SEC is meeting - this meeting gets swing back n forth, days keep changing..
02) Credit rules are going to be relaxed - this can happen but do u have a guarantee its not another ball passing?

OK...... Can anybody start a tread to educate the common crowd???

well done small... time someone highlight this nonsense happening. who is that guy dindon bell(nothing personal, just annoyed), everyday market is going up for him, moderators need to action on these type of posts. if not soon this forum will become like junk, nothing useful.

Really sad to see, how some of the seniors are kept quite, as a result of the criticizing they get from this promoters.

I really hope that these seniors, with loads of wisdom, experience and knowledge will return to the forum and give real good stuff for people like us.

thanks again small, save the forum.

Yes smal...
I really hate to see some topics. Some members keep on posting second by second we don't know what the reason.. Many experienced people in the forum seems to be silent to some extent.. this may be the one of reasons. Actually I dont open some treads by looking at some posters... But never miss the treads from some one like you... I feel time has come to take actions where necessary... otherwise we will miss lots of good topics here...

Good Luck

I already warned moderators and admin about this..

what i see is some members are very concerned about the point system and forum statuses such as 'moderator' etc. They think if they post 1000 posts they will be rewarded such statuses. So ultimately they concerned about quantity not QUALITY.. therefore, they tend to post wildly whatever crap they think. people must understand quality is the most important fact, not number of posts. Very Happy

Spot on, this summarize everything.

I used to share what I read in different websites (which may be worth - my humble opinion-may be wrong? ) with the forum members.

I noticed so many educative or informatics shared posts even not passing 200 views and without comments(or 1-3 comments). Even yesterday Asoka's post only 2 comments and less than 160 views.
Little appreciation won't make any change?

But if someone starts some thread for example "tomorrow will be green" -no fact one line tweet message - 400+ views 20+ comments (Even some moderators are commenting).

Myself compromised the members attitude is due to the market volatility. But I appreciate smallville pinpointed this matter in a decent way.

Thanks a lot smallville.

You brought up this point in a right time.

My point is clear on this one as smallville said in another thread " you can take the horse to water but you cannot .....".

I can remember a post saying HE president will visit CSE to make an announcement, the letters are being drafted at President's Office etc.. (After the meeting with brokers)... I do not know who is telling truth and who is not? Life goes on. For me these are concepts of "Gonata Andavima".

@siranga.. you are correct. Now no one read the valuable posts because I think many members were in upset mind due to market fall these days. So they like to see all the posts which give hope..weather it rubbish or not. To satisfy their self..

IMHO this is not the correct time to have educational discussions. Because those who need education are not in a good mood to do so as some pointed out above.

yes.. agree with manula and Academic . Most people are not in a position to hear long investment theories at the moment. Because CSE doesn't behave according to that.

Thanks a lot smallville to open a discussion on these issues.
In my earlier comments in various posts I mention these issues so many time.
I do agree the frustrated traders/investors are looking for moral boosting news.( In reality they are running in a tea cup)
In CSE the theories won't work is completely wrong.
For the time being it seems to be true for us but in near future it will prove wrong.
All the markets are working according do the human behaviour.
All of us in the past particularly between 2009 and 2011 emotionally or stupidly push the market to hyper level and the manipulators used ourself to their gain. If we are under pressure and won't to educate our self or grasp good knowledge then for me we can't call us a human beings.
This is my opinion nothing personal.

@ Kumar. you are completely misunderstood what I told here. yes, continuous eduction on investment is important. Any fool can understand that.
but at the moment many members were in upset mind due to downtrend. so some healthy announcement needs to be made to refresh
investors mindset.

Thanks for open this topic Small. Yes most of new topics contain same boring stories.

I can agree with manula, academic and many others in here. Looks like many retailers are fed up with the market behaviour so discuss the values of shares may not see as an important thing to do.
