Yes, as usual TROPICAL CRUST will push for EXPO, LWL
and RCL. Just as what they did when EXPO was near
400. How come EXPO is stagnating with all the so called
foreign buying. The 'Freigtos index' has continuously
gone down. Their volumes will have to more than double
for EXPO to keep up their profits for more than one
year (even with the rupee depreciation). They will as
usual give a trumped up reason for it at the weekend webinar. Mad

For your info, I don't have LOFC, NIFL, ASPH. I have made money from EXPO and TILE. However, though EXPO has performed well, Tropical Trust plays games with this share. They never talk about the issues related to Marginal trading and freight rates going down etc. In a forum such as this, both sides must be discussed clearly. The following comment by an expert expresses the sentiments very clearly.

Find below PE based valuations of EXPOLANKA done on the basis of latest earnings to determine whether company is good or bad to buy at the current price levels.

PE Expectations are often depended on prevailing interest rates. Higher the interest rates fund will tend to shift towards debt instruments unless shares start trading at matching PE Ratios.

As a result of current TB rates being 33% p.a, stock market investors expect target buying companies to have PER of 3X or less. 100/33 = 3

If the interest Rates were at 25%p.a then PER Expectation would be 4X or less. 100/25 = 4.

In case if TB Rates reach 50% then investors would be looking for companies with a PER of 2X or less. 100/50 = 2

At 3 X PER, EXP is worth only LKR 145/=
