hettdas... you can understand how to private banks treat their customers...

Interest rate. 344eaok

Interest rate. 2cnh1mc

NTB provide 2%.. 2.5% .. while their personal loan rate 18% no bank charged that much

I feel NTB has some rude interest rate for their customers

COMB & HNB gives 4% interest on savings accounts as per their website.

dear greedy...

NTB is giving 2.5%.. 3% for below 500,000 savings

but all other banks and even government banks giving 4% for even 1 rupee saving for their valuable customers...
Looking at their inrest rate on personal loan which 18%

do u agree with them this 2.5%.. 3% for savings? shouldn't their business be some fair to their customer?

I see NTB try to become as XSBC

First of all I do not hold any banking shares now & do not have any personal interests on banks Smile.

Agreed, NTB's Interest on savings accounts are lower. But their Interest rates on Fixed deposits are higher than HNB & COMB. May be they follow different business models between savings & fixed deposits.

NTB Fixed Deposit Rates;

Interest rate. Ntb_in10

HNB Fixed Deposit Rates;

Interest rate. Hnb_in10

COMB Fixed Deposit Rates;

Interest rate. Comb_i10

By the way, what is the loan interest rates of HNB & COMB?

NTB FD rates ranges from 10.5% to 15.5%.
HNB FD rates ranges from 8.0% to 12.0% &
COMB FD rates ranges from 9.0% to 12.0%

Obviously NTB far ahead in interest rates compared to other two banks but their rates on Savings are not that good. However, I see the closest alternative for savings accounts is 1 month deposit. One month deposit interest rates are;

NTB 10.5%
HNB 8.0%
COMB 9.0%

Please let me know if they evaluate customers like I asked.

btw, HSBC fixed rate is 19.5% so I think you are not comparing the same type of rates.

further, NTB gives me highest rates among all other banks for my deposits.

By looking at above posts, following conclusions are made
We should deposit our money at NTB as they pay higher interest.
If we want to get a loan avoid NTB ,HSBC and go for state banks probably.

Wouldn't it be fair if you list down what are the interest rates charged for personal loans by HNB, COMB, SAMP, HSBC and other competitors and later say NTB charging a higher interest???
