it was hovering around 11 for some time and now its up trending touching 12.50 yesterday
Day's Range: 11.30 - 12.50
this share is highly speculative, but high risk also.
High risk high return on the cards.
as i predicted the last run which went to Rs 20/- i am predicting a Rs 14 to 16 run if this run continues.
today is a deciding day and if HVA rides high on the tide, then ASI would not matter once the dog chase starts.

Those who bought at 11 are already sit on 10% gain. This is not a high risk share further. HVA is now backed by some strong fundamentals.

Still trading less than 10 forward P/E and NAVPS

11 is possible again. For me it was a good trade from 11 to 13.10.

I was also collecting this assuming our long time investor "DJ" is so keen to hold his stake, But top 20 share holders list tells a different story.

Managed to sold the entire stock thinking prevention is better than cure.

Top 20 share holders list 30/09/2011 Divasa equity holds 10% stake
HVA back in uptrend... Hva111
Top 20 share holders list 31/03/2012 Divasa equity holds 2.45% stake
HVA back in uptrend... Hva210
Top 20 share holders list 30/09/2012 Divasa equity's stake?

However this is not a bad counter to buy back later on

DJ is a classic example for running companies following the business rule “others money, others time”.

Unless a connected party to the DJ, I don’t know why some small scale investors block their money on private placements and IPOs. Look at CITK and CITW; you have enough time to collect the quantity you want at more than 50% discount to the offer price.

I remember a time in 2009-2010 when all IPO were oversubscribed and 50% or even 100% gains were possible within short term. People were chasing after IPO. To many IPO, badly priced IPO , lousy performance in market and sentiment issues killed the IPO hype after 2011.

A day will come again when IPOs will be hot ( when the market is moving) . Only hope they will not try to conn the public with overvalued pricing. If they do it is hoped lesser number of people will be suckers than before ( unless new ones are born which is a possiblity)

Looks like HVA Lanka Export LTD had sold 6.6M shares @ 45 to Divasa and bought back a lot from the market for far cheaper prices.

Wonder Divasa made any money from this deal? At a glance, DJ lost money from it.

Timing is very very important in playing with this share. As you mentioned just before last rally I entered around 14.00 and got out at 19.00. It was my biggest profit so far 45K in just couple of days. So at current level it is surely attractive to enter again. And also company financials getting ok.

i am sure in future this share will get in to the great companies stock.now its a good company. once there is a news from them about a new acquire or new plant or a big investment. then the share is sure to sky high fast with its speculative reputation.

One of my friends Company ordered some Tea. They delivered something else and not what ordered. When they informed HVA and wanted that to be replace no action has been taken for the last 8 months. Even no one cared about it.

Until HVA put the fundamental things correct, it will never get in to the greater levels. I feel like HVA is run by bunch of monkeys
