I downloaded the DirectFN software in both my laptop and office computer.

In my laptop it works fine. I use mobitel broadband.

In my office computer it doesn't connect to the server. Do you guys know how to fix this.
Obviously I can not ask this from our IT section ;)

You would require admin rights from your IT team! As your office IT team has disabled/blocked running certain programs in PHP format etc..

If your company uses a proxy server, u can not connect from Office LAN for sure. same here in my office too.

I use office LAN and modem at the same time for office PC.

use following command to use both in same time.

assume 192.168.xxx.xxx is your office ip range and 192.168.1.1 is default gateway

ROUTE ADD 192.168.0.0 mask 255.255.0.0 192.168.1.1

then you can use office LAN for local data and modem connection for internet and other data

it may be restricted .Most of office computes are restricted to install any program with out taking permission .

If you are connected to a network in a office better not to play with ip addresses and fire wall settings if you don't know what you are doing.

DirecFN running on TCP ports 9997 and 9006 U have to keep them open in your Proxy/Firewall servers .

get the port nos from ur brocker & ask ur IT to open them for u

Do you know how the check the splits in ordering in the web based application
