Dear Survivers..

Can Greg reduce the warrant conversion prices?

As i know there is no law to prohibit such act? Is there?

If my memory is correct, what the price Caledonian paid to Voting Share+ Warrant0003+Warrant006 was less or equal to the NAV. That means they already discounted the warrant price no?

I don't think its transparant & also fair by those who panicked and sold earlier.

It is good if done... by the way is there any chance to reduce the number of warrants or cancel them

Reducting conversion price :
This may be an option. I guess the management can decide to reduce the conversion price at EGM after approval as it will not directly be considered a negative for holders. But I also don;t not know the existing SEC rules on this.

Regarding reducing warrant quantitiy:
This is a major issue isn;t it. Even if the management wants to, unless the big share holders and not to mention the small ones of warrants come to some agreement they cannot simply cancel rights. People paid money for these.

SEC should not allow even if they want to.

GREG warrant fountain issue should be a lesson to be learned by all Companies not to do . Also retailers note a Rs 100+ warrant you bought can be worth Rs 0 if you are not careful.

Some people could have lost 99% unlrealized losses on greg warrants!!

If they reduce the W2 conversion price LH is the one mainly get benefitted and they can get the ownership back.So I do not think that current owners may like that idea.

By the time the warrant W2 get exercised in 6 months , if GREG.N is not Rs 33 just think about what will happen to w2 holders.

BTW if you have time, I found this GREG thread when GREG.N was last round Rs 32 (from early 2012 )

Can anybody tell us who are the current owners of GREG (with controlling interest)

If that is not Lionhart then the new owners will do whatever possible to protect their controlling interest.
Warrant holdrs has no power to decide anything.

So time bet. now and conversion date is critical.

I think this is outdated information now since 31 Dec 2012. With in these two month many transactions happened. As per my knowledge Lion Heart does not have 10% stake now.

Capital trust have around 11-12% stake. Thabrobane and Caledonial are the major share holders. However controlling stake will decide by support of Capital trust.

This recent information I got from my CT Broker.....
