I have very successful story with TWOOD but it is not going to help many as I am a high risk trader and I don't want to put anybody in trouble.....I was a investor long back once I realize what is Colombo stock exchange I started trading regardless of fundamentals....to be very honest I collected last week twood for 3.40 200000 shares and disposed at 5.40 having 400000 profit and waited and didn't think of twood but as my experience for last 5 years i know when there is a court case twood always went up and same time once the case is over it came down so with that experience i collected yesterday 84000 at 3.90 and still holding to dispose this is my story ...not a promotion or encouragement about any kind...what i understand is this is sri lanka and this is cse...cheers...

Thanks again for valuable comments, I personally believe if
Return on assets <15%
Return on equity <15%
Return on investment<15% then it is good to purchase. Any suggestion or correction for my opinion???

Think TJL all time high also below 16, if we buy at this level then difficult to gain profit, but if it is below ten i believe good to buy.

I hope you are connected to some broker firm. (I do not like to mention the names)
Otherwise, you could have make losses.
But my question is what factor make you to buy it around 3.40 rather than buying it somewhere 2.00. I wish if i could. Then, it could have been a marvelous journey.

There was a good time at CSE that was the day before the involvement of SEC. As I’m 100% technical trader, that method was not working after that. Because we measure the mass psychology of Mr Market you can’t do that in a controlled situation. Today I’m looking at it very rarely though I have fare amount of CTC & HAYC. But now a days I’m heavily involved in forex which is much profitable.

Present market is controlled by monitor of stock market manipulation

If market come to before 2009 level you can see more and more success stories

You can see only exceptional cases of success stories now

I think some force do not allow market to go up  to prevent

unbearable foreign sales

Dear Maha...

It's not prohibited..But in-ward and out-ward remittance are strictly controlled by SLCB. That is the main objection that is having for forex trading... Mad Mad

We have to face reality whether we like it or not . This is a cash strapped administration particularly foreign exchange . They would do everything possible to increase inflow rather than outflow . During 2009-2011 bull run outflow was in billions and this administration might have realized it later and employed artificial control on the market which we could see with CTC ,Nestle , SLT etc . My feeling is that they would not allow our market to appreciate beyond certain limits . That may be the reason why with very favourable economic environment we are experiencing at the moment (GDP growth , low interest rates , available credits etc.) this market is not moving . This is the sorry situation of our market toady . There is no wonder that most active HNWI we had before 2009-2011 period are sideline toady as they are aware of the ground situation . Will there be a way out for this or will have to wait until a regime change ? (I have no political alignment at all .This is just an opinion )

I Think What you  says is correct

Authorities play the pool with market forces

When foreigners understand this situation they will react very soon

It appears that already they understood it

The economy and financial system specially related to stock market is managed by non Economists  and gamblers under this govt

Top politicians including  Minister of Economic development can't understand this Deputy minister finance who can understand has no say.

We feel the pinch
