That is a long process and economic sanctions could be imposed only by the UN security council where if one country uses its Veto power that would be defeated . However , we must make a note that America or EU countries could impose bilateral economic sanctions as they did for Russia recently . Being our major markets for our exports are those countries that could have an effect for our economy . So the government must understand the gravity of the problem and should act accordingly through which only we could avoid negative effect of it .
